Bangladesh Will Meet India In Gwalior

Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium, Gwalior set for first T20 between Bangladesh & India. This is a new venue, no international match yet. The only cricket played at this brand-new venue was during the Madhya Pradesh T20 League back in June. The tournament saw an average first-innings score of 161. Teams chasing won seven out of 12 games, lost four, and one match ended in a tie. The highest total recorded during the tournament was 278/4.

On the surface, this series might not seem to offer India much to gain, especially considering they've only lost to Bangladesh once in 14 encounters. However, this Indian team is a young and evolving side, eager to prove itself and address lingering questions. They're about to face an opponent with 250 more international caps, a rare scenario for Indian cricket, where their experience is often the advantage. This makes the series a valuable test for the emerging talents in the squad.

"It's a great opportunity for youngsters. Whenever they have played for there states, they have done well. There's nothing different to do here," India captain Suryakumar Yadav.
